It\u2019s a strategy that deflects the mounting public dissatisfaction against them, but it\u2019s not working so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ten state legislatures in 2026 \u2014 Hawaii, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin, and West Virginia \u2014 have abandoned various versions of price cap proposals.
